Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has left for an official visit to Russia.

"As part of the visit, a bilateral meeting between [Bayramov] and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is scheduled for July 17," the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the day before that the heads of the two countries' foreign ministries will discuss the current state and prospects of Russian-Azerbaijani relations, as well as pressing regional and international issues.
