Russian strikes on Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea have significantly reduced Kyiv’s ability to export grain crops. Reuters reported this, citing data from the Ukrainian Agrarian Council.

As noted, grain shipment capacity has fallen from 6 million to about 4 million metric tons per month. At the same time, grain exports remain Ukraine’s largest source of foreign currency earnings, and 90% of supplies are shipped through three ports in the Odesa region, the agency said.
