On July 16, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Kingdom, Varuzhan Nersesyan, met with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud-Basso.

During the meeting, Ambassador Nersesyan conveyed to Ms. Renaud-Basso the invitation of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to participate in the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), to be held in Yerevan.

The interlocutors discussed the long-standing partnership between Armenia and the EBRD and touched upon the prospects for expanding cooperation in priority areas. The parties also exchanged views on regional developments.
