264 deputies supported this decision, 15 voted against, and another 19 abstained.

Earlier today, deputies appointed Sergei Koretsky as head of the Cabinet.

The ministers of defense and foreign affairs still remain unapproved in the new government. Unlike the other ministerial posts, the candidates for the positions of head of the Defense Ministry and the Foreign Ministry are submitted to the Rada not by the prime minister, but by the president.

Amid the scandal that erupted over Fedorov’s resignation, Zelensky said that he has not yet made a final decision on whose candidacy for defense minister he will submit to parliament. The president is also expected to hold another meeting with Fedorov later today.
