The U.S. administration says that Iran has told the United States it wants to work out an agreement to end the hostilities, and contacts between Washington and Tehran are ongoing.

"I spoke about this with President [Donald Trump of the United States] just an hour ago. Iran is very much still negotiating with the U.S. and saying it wants to make a deal with us, as the American armed forces are delivering devastating strikes against it," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said at a regular press briefing for journalists.
