U.S. President Donald Trump claims that China gained unauthorized access in 2020 to 220 million voter records in the United States.

"For some time, beginning with the 2020 election cycle, the PRC carried out what was likely the largest data compromise in history. This allowed China to unlawfully obtain 220 million records on American voters. This information included names, addresses, phone numbers, political views, and other sensitive information," he said while delivering a televised address to fellow citizens at the White House.
