Armenia's Ambassador to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, held a meeting with Kristen Kaufman, Senior Vice President of Global Influencer Initiatives at the United States Council for International Business (USCIB), and Agnes Vinblad, Senior Director of Environment and Sustainable Development, the Armenian Embassy reports.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed opportunities for cooperation between Armenia and USCIB, particularly in the fields of:

Sustainable development and policy formulation;

Private sector engagement;

Expanding international partnerships.

They also discussed the participation of a USCIB business delegation in the upcoming 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), which will be hosted in Armenia.

Within the framework of the meeting, Ambassador Mkrtchyan presented the economic reforms being implemented by the Armenian government, outlined the steps aimed at improving the country's investment climate, and emphasized the critical importance of deepening cooperation with international business circles.
