U.S. President Donald Trump said he had instructed the relevant agencies to punish those involved in concealing information about vulnerabilities in voting systems in the United States.
"Today I am instructing the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the CIA to conduct an investigation to determine how and why such important information was concealed, dismiss those involved in hiding it, and bring criminal charges against these people if necessary," he said in a televised address to fellow citizens from the White House.
