An unidentified buyer purchased the mansion in the New York City borough of Queens where U.S. President Donald Trump spent the first four years of his life. The New York Post (NY Post) reports this.
Neither the buyer’s name nor the value of the deal is known yet. The house was initially listed for sale in November 2025 for $2.3 million, but by the summer of 2026 the asking price had dropped to $1.99 million.
The English-style house was built in 1940 by Fred Trump, the father of the current U.S. leader. It was located in the affluent Jamaica Estates neighborhood of Queens. The future president lived there with his family until 1950, when they moved to a larger house in the same area.
In 2025, realtor Tommy Lin bought the property for just over $800,000. According to him, he took on the project “solely because it was Trump’s childhood home.” The realtor invested another $500,000 in restoring and renovating the building, completely updating the interior finishes and room design.
