Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Mindaugas Sinkevičius on his appointment as Prime Minister of Lithuania.
The message reads:
"I warmly congratulate you on your appointment as the Prime Minister of Lithuania.
I am confident that during this responsible period, the government under your leadership will succeed in guiding Lithuania along the path of security, stability, and prosperity.
Based on shared values, the friendship between our two peoples serves as a solid foundation for expanding multi-sectoral interaction between Armenia and Lithuania.
In 1991, Lithuania was the first to recognize the independence of the Republic of Armenia, and since then, a strong cooperation has developed between our countries. This relationship was raised to a qualitatively new level by the Joint Declaration 'On Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Lithuania,' signed in Yerevan on May 19, 2026.
We highly value Lithuania's continuous and unconditional support for the reforms implemented in Armenia, and particularly for the deepening of the Armenia-European Union partnership.
I am hopeful that through joint efforts, we will continue to further develop and expand our cooperative agenda for the benefit of both countries.
I wish you productive activity, and to the friendly people of Lithuania, peace and prosperity."
