Freight and passenger transportation increased in the EAEU, the EEC reports.

In January–May 2026 (compared to the previous year), growth was observed both in the overall passenger turnover across the EAEU (by 0.8%) and in a number of national indicators: in Belarus (by 7.8%), Armenia (by 6.1%), Kazakhstan (by 4.1%), and Kyrgyzstan (by 3.9%).

At the same time, during the reporting period, growth in freight transportation was also recorded in Armenia (12.6%), Kyrgyzstan (3.4%), and Belarus (1.1%).
