Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding a meeting at the Kremlin with North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, according to Interfax.

 "At the beginning of the conversation, President Putin highly praised the bilateral relations between Russia and the DPRK and took the opportunity to once again express gratitude to the leadership and people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for their help in carrying out the special military operation, emphasizing that the feats of the Korean soldiers who assisted our troops will never be forgotten in our country and that they have been honored with state awards," Peskov said.

"Putin conveyed his warmest regards to Chairman of State Affairs of the DPRK Kim Jong Un. In turn, the Korean foreign minister expressed appreciation for such warm words and said that DPRK leader Kim Jong Un had quite recently once again confirmed the strategic course toward the fullest possible development of relations with the Russian Federation," the Kremlin representative added.
