Yesterday, U.S. Central Command announced the deaths of two American service members and the disappearance of one in Jordan following the Iranian attack on July 17.

“After a thorough search, U.S. military personnel discovered unidentified remains at the site today. The forensic identification process to confirm the identity of the remains is ongoing.

Separately, it was reported that on July 18 in northern Iraq, a U.S. service member was killed during the controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian drone. A second service member was injured and continues to receive medical care for a minor injury,” the U.S. military noted.
