The naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC Navy) carried out a coordinated three-phase operation on Monday, delivering heavy strikes against U.S. forces in the region, Mehr reports.
The IRGC Navy disclosed details of all three phases of the operation conducted against U.S. troops:
Phase one: A strike was carried out against the maintenance and repair hangars for drones used by U.S. units at Al-Sakhir Air Base in Bahrain. The facilities were completely destroyed.
Phase two: The boat and vessel preparation hangars of Task Force 59 (TF59) at Salman Port in Bahrain were hit. The structures were destroyed, and the watercraft sustained heavy damage.
Phase three: The targets were facilities used to house, support, and equip U.S. Navy special forces at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait. According to the IRGC Navy, the infrastructure was set ablaze and completely destroyed.
