According to U.S. officials, about 100 American service members were injured in July as a result of multiple Iranian airstrikes on bases in the Middle East, CBS News reports.
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said that nearly 100 people "sustained injuries of varying severity since July 7."
He assured that 96% of them have already returned to duty.
