At least nine people were killed and three others were injured in rain-related incidents across Pakistan over the past 24 hours, Xinhua reported.

The total number of fatalities caused by monsoon rains across the country since June 26 has reached 47.

Since the start of the rainy season, 123 people have been affected and 178 houses have been damaged.
