Conscript serviceman Narek Torosyan, who was found dead the previous day, was from Charentsavan and lived with his two younger sisters and parents. This was stated to a correspondent of NEWS.am by neighbors of the deceased serviceman.

They said that Narek had already served for 6 months, was serving in a training military unit in Armavir, and had recently come home on leave, after which he was transferred to a military unit in Chambarak.

Neighbors put forward different theories: some said he died from a gunshot wound, while another version was that the serviceman was found hanged.

As a reminder, the previous day the Investigative Committee of Armenia reported the death of the serviceman without specifying under which article the criminal case had been initiated, and the Ministry of Defense has not yet provided any information on the matter.
