Rosaviatsiya issued a notice (NOTAM) for air transport operators regarding flights in the area of the Moscow Aviation Hub (MAH).
“Until 02:59 on August 12, flights within its boundaries may be operated only at altitudes below flight level 160 (about 4,900 meters).
Transit flights through the MAH are prohibited. The measures were introduced to ensure flight safety.
The temporary regime introduced on June 20, restricting in a number of regions of Central Russia flights by light and ultralight aircraft and civilian unmanned aerial vehicles in the altitude range from the ground up to 5,200 meters, remains in effect,” the agency noted.
