U.S. Central Command forces completed another round of strikes on Iran, for the twelfth consecutive night.

"American forces struck Iranian military targets, including naval facilities, missile and drone storage sites, coastal reconnaissance posts, and air defense systems. These strikes further degrade Iran’s ability to attack civilian mariners and commercial vessels.

This month, American forces have struck dozens of Iranian military sites on land while also reimposing a maritime blockade on Iran. To date, Central Command has redirected nine commercial vessels and disabled one to prevent ships from entering or leaving Iranian ports.

More than 50,000 American service members are operating in the Middle East and remain highly vigilant, focused, combat-ready, and prepared to act," the U.S. military said.

As reported by IRIB, the U.S. carried out strikes in the vicinity of the cities of Ahvaz, Andimeshk, Jask, and Sirik.

In addition, two people were killed and 11 were injured in a U.S. missile strike in the area of the Shalamcheh border crossing on the Iran-Iraq border.

Iran, for its part, struck American facilities in Kuwait, Jordan, and Erbil, Iraq.
