The 2 servicemen accused of negligently driving serviceman N.T. of Ministry of Defense military unit N to suicide on July 21 have been detained. This was reported by the Investigative Committee.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee had reported that during the preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated over the death of serviceman N.T. of Ministry of Defense military unit N on July 21, public criminal prosecution was initiated against a junior sergeant who served alongside him, under Points 1, 2, and 3 of Part 2 of Article 522 of the Criminal Code, and against a rank-and-file serviceman under Points 1 and 3 of Part 2 of Article 522 (negligently driving a serviceman to suicide). Within the framework of the proceedings, both were arrested, and a motion has been submitted to the court to apply detention as a measure of restraint against them.
