Iran, Saudi Arabia, and other countries should have the right to peaceful nuclear energy. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated this on July 23.

“Our position regarding the right of any state to peaceful nuclear energy, to the peaceful use of atomic energy, is well known to everyone. And Iran should have this right, Saudi Arabia should have this right, and other states should have it as well,” he said at a briefing.

Peskov added that Moscow’s position on nuclear non-proliferation in the world is also “well known to everyone.”
