One person was killed in the crash of an army helicopter in the Czech Republic. This was reported by the news portal Idnes.
The press service of the Czech Armed Forces had earlier reported the crash of a U.S.-made Venom helicopter carrying five servicemen on board. The incident occurred in the town of Náměšť nad Oslavou in the southeast of the country.
The Czech Air Force has eight UH-1Y Venom helicopters and four AH-1Z Viper helicopters.
