Volodymyr Zelensky said that he will travel to the United States, where during the week he may meet with U.S. leader’s special envoy Steven Witkoff and businessman Jared Kushner.

“We will have a meeting. Most likely, we may have a meeting in the United States. We have been invited, and I think the meeting will take place in the coming days, within a week,” he said. TSN television channel published the video of his answers to journalists’ questions.

Zelensky added that during a phone call with Witkoff and Kushner on Wednesday, representatives of Ukraine and the United States “discussed various U.S. proposals regarding the end of the [Ukrainian] conflict.”

Zelensky said that during the visit he also plans to meet with representatives of Lockheed Martin, the company that manufactures missiles for the Patriot air defense system.
