An Iranian oil tanker passed through the maritime blockade of the Islamic Republic imposed by the United States. This was reported by Iran's state broadcasting company.

According to its information, the Iranian vessel has already entered the Gulf of Oman.

The latest escalation of the U.S.-Iran conflict began on July 8. For the first time since the signing of the memorandum between Washington and Tehran, the U.S. armed forces launched several waves of strikes on the territory of the Islamic Republic, allegedly in response to an attack on a merchant vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. On the same day, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the end of the truce with Iran. As part of its retaliatory actions, Tehran began striking U.S. facilities in the Middle East located in Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Oman. On July 14, the United States resumed its maritime blockade of Iran.
