US President Donald Trump will hold another meeting in the coming hours on the military operation against Iran. He announced this at an event held at the US Environmental Protection Agency.

“Finally, I want to say that it has been an honor for me to be here. Now I’m leaving [for the White House] to talk [with my entourage] about various topics. One of them is the war with Iran,” the American leader said.

“Again: things are going very well for us. Eighty-four percent of their drones have been destroyed, and 91% of their missiles. They have nothing,” the US leader claimed. “They are simply angry, and they are smart, and they still have some [military] capability. But believe me, four months ago they were much, much stronger,” Trump added.

The United States and Israel began the war with Iran on February 28. In June, Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding providing for an immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon. However, on the night of July 8, the United States resumed large-scale strikes on Iran, accusing it of violating the terms of the agreements reached regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
