Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said that the situation regarding ship traffic in the Strait of Hormuz has not changed.
“Several rounds of talks were held in Tehran between Iran and Oman at the level of deputy foreign ministers, during which the sides exchanged views on the general principles and practical mechanisms for ensuring safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
The talks were productive, and some progress was made. The Omani delegation has left Tehran. Technical and political consultations between the two sides are ongoing,” he noted, Fars reports.
