Iranian army spokesperson Mohammad Akraminiya said that Tehran had suspended its military operations after the United States halted its attacks, Iranian media report.
He emphasized that Iran’s conduct during this period of conflict is based on “reciprocity,” and that any change in the situation on the ground would lead to a proportionate response from Tehran.
Akraminiya said that Washington is in a situation where its “ability to make strategic decisions has been exhausted.” According to him, the absence of a clear policy in the United States is evident both in the president’s decisions and in the work of the country’s Central Command.
He stressed that Iran is closely monitoring developments and that any changes in U.S. behavior will be taken into account.
