Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said before departing for Washington that during his planned meeting with U.S. leader Donald Trump, he intends to discuss “all agenda items, first and foremost Iran.”

“I am heading to Washington for a meeting with Trump. This is my eighth meeting with him since he was elected president of the United States for a second term. As my experience as prime minister shows, in these difficult times it is necessary to act with great determination and great wisdom. We will discuss all agenda items, first and foremost Iran,” Netanyahu said at the foot of the aircraft stairs. Video of the prime minister’s remarks was distributed by his office.
