Iran has added Azerbaijan’s state television channel, AzTV, to its list of “hostile media.” This was reported by Iranian media.
It is noted that the reasons for this decision may have included, among other things, the publication of false news contradicting national security, as well as ties with Israel.
In response, the Azerbaijani authorities declared the activities of the Iranian TV channel Səhər and the Mehr news agency, as well as their representatives, illegal on the country’s territory.
