In Azerbaijan, a verdict has been handed down for the defendants in the case involving the opposition TV channel Toplum TV.
According to local media, Akif Gurbanov was sentenced to 15 years, Alesker Mammadli to 14, Ruslan Izzetli to 15, Ramil Babayev to 13, Ali Zeynalov to 14, Mushfig Jabbarov to 13, Ilkin Amrakhov to 13, Farid Ismailov to 12, and Elmir Abbasov to 12 years in prison.
