On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump publicly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following reports that the Israeli leader intends to present Trump with evidence that Iran continues to develop nuclear technology at its underground Pickaxe Mountain facility.

"I don’t need Bibi to tell me about it. Bibi tells me this because he wants me to stay involved," Trump said on Fox & Friends, responding to a question about the report ahead of his meeting with Netanyahu in the Oval Office.

"We already know exactly what is happening there. But I heard Bibi announce it publicly. And I said: ‘Why don’t you just tell me? Why announce it to the whole world?’" the U.S. president noted.

"I know exactly what is happening at the Pickaxe facility. It’s not such a big problem. We destroyed their nuclear facility, and if we fail to make a deal, then we will have to destroy Pickaxe too," Trump added.
