YEREVAN.- Members of Prosperous Armenia Party Vardan Vardanyan, minister of urban development, Harutyun Kushkyan, health minister, party member Aram Safaryan and spokesperson for party leader Khachik Galstyan as well as Ruben Gevorgyan will not get MP seats.

Spokesman for PAP leader Khachik Galstyan confirmed the reports for Armenian News-NEWS.am. Galstyan denied rumors that party leader Gagik Tsarukyan asked them to write a disclaimer on the seats because they had polled less than 10 thousand votes for the party at their polling stations.

When asked about the reason for giving up the mandate, Galstyan said that this decision had been made by the party. Galstyan also said that they would remain loyal to the party.

Parliamentary elections runner-up Prosperous Armenia Party polled 30.20% (454,684 votes) according to preliminary results. The party will have 20 seats in a 131-member National Assembly.
