U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have concluded a meeting in the Oval Office of the White House that lasted about an hour and a half, The Times of Israel reports.

The U.S. administration said the talks were “positive and productive.”

According to the White House, the meeting ended at around 12:25 p.m. local time, after which Netanyahu left the presidential residence.

Also taking part in the talks were U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and U.S. Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff.

Photographs published by the Israeli prime minister’s office show Netanyahu and Rubio shaking hands in the Oval Office, as well as joint images of Trump, Netanyahu, and Vance.

No official details about the substance of the talks were released immediately after the meeting. It had previously been reported that the leaders planned to discuss the situation surrounding Iran, the presence of Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, and the expansion of the Abraham Accords on normalizing relations between Israel and Arab countries.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also said that Trump’s meeting with Netanyahu and the U.S. president’s separate talks with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky were “positive and productive.”
