A ship carrying liquefied natural gas from Qatar has crossed the Strait of Hormuz for the first time in three weeks, Fars news agency reports.

The ship followed the route agreed with Iran.

The Qatari ship passed through without any obstacles, keeping its Automatic Identification System (AIS) switched on and following the route set by Iran.

The ship then headed for the open sea.
