Opposition Prosperous Armenia Party’s (PAP) detained chairman, businessman Gagik Tsarukyan is at the General Department for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Smuggling, where an investigation is being carried out, the Investigative Committee of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Tsarukyan was detained on July 7 on charges of large-scale fraud and money laundering.

And recently, a new public criminal prosecution was initiated against the PAP leader, under the Armenian criminal code article on tax evasion.
