We are happy to see how a new era of peace, cooperation, and interconnectedness is taking shape in the South Caucasus. We sincerely wish Armenia success in realizing its vision of peace, stability, development, and prosperity. Chinese ambassador to Armenia Li Xinwei on Thursday stated this during an official reception on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China.

Also, the head of the Chinese diplomatic mission in Armenia wished the new National Assembly and government of Armenia a successful formation and productive work, prosperity for the two countries, and eternal friendship between their armed forces.

“The Chinese army considers its mission not only national security, but also the preservation of peace and the prevention of wars in the whole world. With strong potential, we remain committed to the principle of non-use of force and the policy of no first use of nuclear weapons,” Li added.

Also, the Chinese diplomat particularly emphasized the participation of the PLA in UN peacekeeping operations, international disaster relief, and humanitarian aid, underscoring Beijing’s aspiration to build a shared future and jointly confront global challenges with the international community.
