Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan on Thursday received Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hamid Ghanbari, who is visiting Armenia.
First, Khudatyan expressed gratitude for the warm reception during his recent visit to Iran. He emphasized that the wide range of matters discussed in Iran and the agreements reached will enable further deepening the high-level cooperation between the two countries.
The energy, transport, and road construction sectors were discussed during the meeting.
Khudatyan stressed that the amount of engagement of Iranian companies in construction work in Armenia had never been as huge as now, which is only welcome.
The construction process of the third Armenia-Iran 400 kV power transmission line was also touched upon, and the strategic importance of this project was emphasized.
