The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, the elite unit of Iran’s armed forces) reported an attack on the facilities of the Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait.

Iranian military drones struck a fighter airfield, satellite communications systems, and equipment depots at the Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait, the IRGC said in a statement disseminated by IRNA news agency.

The statement stressed that the aforesaid air base in Kuwait plays a key role in US air reconnaissance and support operations and is one of the key centers for providing air support to the US military.
