Major General Ali Abdollahi, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian army, said that Muslim countries should show “foresight,” monitor US actions in the region, and reconsider cooperation and interaction with Washington, Mehr reports.

According to him, the US is “accelerating its course toward large-scale escalation” of the regional conflict, seeking to establish “illegal dominance” in the Middle East. Abdollahi accused Washington of allegedly being ready to use any methods to achieve its goals during the recent war against Iran.

The Iranian general said that countries in the region are providing the US with their financial resources, infrastructure, and strategic capabilities, which are being used as a “shield” for American armed forces while simultaneously strengthening Israel’s military potential.

According to Abdollahi, Iran, together with its armed forces and allies, has demonstrated that “the balance of power in the region has changed.” He claims that the US failure to achieve its goals forced American troops and Israel to conduct military operations “from the territory of Muslim countries,” shifting the consequences of the conflict onto the governments of the region.

“Any country that becomes a protective shield for the US will burn in the fire of war,” the commander said.

He called on Middle Eastern states to closely monitor Washington’s actions and reconsider any forms of cooperation with the US.
