Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in phone calls with representatives of Turkey and Pakistan that Tehran is prepared to defend itself against possible aggression and warned of the consequences of US actions in the region, Mehr reports.

According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Araghchi discussed the latest developments in the Middle East with Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

According to the Iranian foreign minister, the actions of the United States are “aggressive and destabilizing” and could lead to a further rise in tension and instability in the region.

Araghchi also warned Washington against “adventurous steps” and said that Iran is ready to deliver a “decisive response” to any aggression.
