All three factions of the 9th convocation of Armenia's National Assembly have elected their leaders and secretaries, as announced from the parliamentary podium during the first session of the newly formed parliament on August 2.
Arusyak Manavazyan has been elected head of the parliamentary faction of the ruling "Civil Contract" party, with Volodya Hakobyan elected as secretary.
Narek Karapetyan has been elected head of the parliamentary faction of the opposition "Strong Armenia" bloc, with Tigran Abramyan taking the position of secretary.
Anna Grigoryan has been elected head of the parliamentary faction of the opposition "Armenia" bloc, with Artur Khachatryan elected as secretary.
In the 9th convocation of the National Assembly, "Civil Contract" holds 64 parliamentary mandates, "Strong Armenia" holds 29, and "Armenia" holds 12 mandates.
