I don’t know, I haven’t thought about who should replace me in the Armenia-Turkey settlement process. If the government needs my advice, we will discuss it, but that issue is within the government’s domain. Ruben Rubinyan, newly elected speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, sated this at a press briefing Monday.

And to the question of what he is going to do as NA speaker regarding the return of Armenian prisoners in Azerbaijan, Rubinyan replied: “Regarding prisoners and other detainees, you know that this issue is part of everyday work. It is thanks to that everyday work that more than 200 prisoners have returned to their homeland over the years and that work never stops. There were months when there was no movement, there were discussions again about [the fact] that the [Armenian] government is not doing anything, is not doing anything, but suddenly one day next [group of] prisoners have returned. We will do everything to make this happen as quickly as possible, and naturally, we will work in that direction at the parliamentary level, just as we have worked in that direction."
