Reconstruction work on the railway line on the border with Armenia continues at full scale, Turkish media report.
The governor of the Akyaka District of Turkey’s Kars Province, Ismail Demirtas, visited the reconstruction site and got acquainted with the progress of the work.
During the visit, he received detailed information about the current state of the work. The inspection focused on the renewal of the rails, strengthening the infrastructure, maintenance and repair, as well as measures to increase the safety of the railway line.
It was noted that the completion of the work on this strategically important railway line on the border with Armenia is aimed at modernizing and improving the infrastructure, increasing transportation safety, and making a significant contribution to the development of railway transport in the future.
It was also noted that after the completion of maintenance, repair, and reconstruction work, this railway line will be modernized, will become safer, more efficient, and will be able to serve for many years.
