Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he has disagreements with US President Donald Trump over the peace plan for the Gaza Strip submitted by the Board of Peace, and he believes that the complete disarmament of Hamas is necessary before moving on to the next phase, the reconstruction of this Palestinian enclave.

"There are disagreements with President Trump that I don’t hide, regarding the recent agreement with Hamas. Hamas must be disarmed and the Gaza Strip [must be] demilitarized before moving on to the reconstruction phase," Netanyahu said, Al Jazeera reports.

The Israeli prime minister made the remarks after meeting with the Board of Peace's lead envoy, Nickolay Mladenov.
