On Tuesday at 11:54am local time, the seismological network of Armenia recorded a magnitude-3 earthquake in the Armenia-Nakhchivan (Azerbaijan) border zone, 23 kilometers southwest of Sisian, and at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The tremor measured magnitude 4 in the epicenter, the Rescue Service of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The quake was felt in Sisian city, as well as in Dastakert, Arevis, Tanahat, Tasik, Salvard, and Torunik villages of Armenia’s Syunik Province.
