In the period from January to June 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, the amount of remittances to Armenia increased by 130 percent, Hayk Avetisyan, head of the Monetary Policy Department of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA), told a press conference Tuesday.

Avetisyan explained that these indicators include data on non-commercial and commercial transfers as a result of exports and imports.

CBA deputy governor Hovhannes Khachatryan, in turn, said that at the moment there are no capital and people flows in Armenia that can be compared with the period after 2022.
