Armenian Ambassador Vahagn Afyan on Tuesday met with the newly appointed Joint Secretary for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Defense of India, Amit Telang, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Embassy of Armenia in India.

The meeting, which was also attended by the defense attaché of Armenia to India, Colonel Arkadi Tonoyan, focused on cooperation in the defense sector between the two countries, particularly in defense industry and military education, as well as organizational matters related to upcoming bilateral visits.

Also, the parties discussed ways to ensure the continued momentum of bilateral contacts, further develop cooperation, and deepen the strategic nature of Armenia-India relations.
