The Armenian-Azerbaijani peace process is going beyond statements and is being strengthened by practical steps from Baku, Azerbaijani presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev said, local media report.
According to Hajiyev, “There is now peace in the South Caucasus, and Armenia is gradually accepting the new geopolitical reality and realizing the importance of relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey.”
Also, the Azerbaijani presidential aide argued that the opening of the “Zangezur Corridor” is in the interests of both countries and will create new transit opportunities for the region.
