Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Aryeh Lightstone, Senior Advisor to US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and the Peace Missions office, the PM’s office informs.

The prime minister highlighted the role of the United States, and in particular President Donald Trump, in establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing that a stable and positive atmosphere has been formed in the region since August 8, 2025.

At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the importance of advancing the agreements reached and expressed satisfaction with their progress. Aryeh Lightstone conveyed to Nikol Pashinyan the congratulations of US President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio on his re-appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.

He expressed confidence that under the leadership of Pashinyan, Armenia will continue to consistently implement its priorities and take steps aimed at strengthening democracy. The interlocutors discussed matters related to the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, expressing confidence that as a result of the solution of technical issues, practical steps in that direction will be even more visible in the near future. The sides exchanged views also on some other matters of mutual interest.
