A representative of the Iranian army said that the United States will have to accept new realities in the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing the irreversibility of the order established by Iran in the strategically important waterway, Press TV reports.

Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminiya, speaking on Saturday before a gathering in Tehran, said that the Iranian armed forces will remain steadfast until the new rules in the Strait of Hormuz are fully established.

Commenting on US actions in the region, the general warned that if the new realities in the Strait of Hormuz are ignored, the adversary will incur significantly greater costs than before.

According to him, the Iranian armed forces possess the necessary motivation and determination to counter such actions.

Akraminiya also stated that Iranian servicemen are ready to sacrifice their lives to defend the country and its state system.

According to him, despite the adversary’s multilayered defense system, Iranian military personnel maintained high morale, continued to remain at missile and drone complexes, and carried out effective operations.

The general also noted the participation of Iranian residents in nighttime mass events. According to him, the public’s activity not only strengthened the morale of the servicemen, but also significantly increased their sense of responsibility for defending the country “until the last breath.”
